Been looking back at my work from 2016 and realized my posing is kinda shit. So I'm gonna start practicing some more extreme poses. I plan on doing 3 male and 3 female. Here is my first model with a focus on the arms. (keep in mind I'm not taking these to completion.)
I studied design and worked in a marketing design studio for 3 years before getting into games and it helped immensely. A person has to learn to use the right colours and composition and ultimately know what looks bad and what looks good. 3 years in design has been a huge help in sharpening those skills.
oooooooo Please add in a model of a Mazda 3 door handle to replace, mah goddamned interior handle snapped something inside and now I have to put my arm through the window to open it and I don't want to pay $200 for a $3 part replacement! Joke aside, Great job so far!
I made a Rayman model for Quake 3. You know, he is a character which is very easy to adjust physique assignments since he has neither arms nor legs :) I used the animations of a Quake 3 character though can't remember which. I don't have the source files anymore.
Oh and something I just noticed: There are 3 different Font-Settings which look very different from each-other so it's hard to guess how to final post will look like. 1. Typing an answer has big nice thick font: 2. Editing an existing post has smaller thinner font but therefore HUGE vertical line-space: 3. Finally, when…
The ratio is very different this time. I managed to sell my 1080 non ti when the 20s came out for 2/3 the original price. Now I can sell the 2080ti for 1/3 or possibly even less depending on the price of others used cards. But I'm slowly getting peace with the thought.
True adam, haha... for some reason i thought WYAWO would show (1 2 3 4 ... 57 58 59 Last), but looking at Wayback, I must have been remembering wrong :) Seeing that the thread has 3+ pages is useful information, even if it doesn't me skip to page 4.
You mean have the character on a turntable to show it off? Well, you can do that, I wouldn't say it looks weird. It's just to show off multiple angles of the walk. You can also split it up into 3 parts, such as front view, side, 3/4 if you don't like the turntable method.
Great animation! Loving the silhouette style of these little shots. If I could choose a sequel, I'd go for nr 3 :) EDIT: Here's a little something by myself, it's an exercise from animation class, so it's not perfect. The exercise was about expressing 3 emotions (sad, angry and shy). Any feedback is of course greatly…
You don't need to separate everything. TeriyakiStyle only sent 3 meshes to ZBrush I think, which were the blade and both straps. Then he separated the 3 meshes to separate subtools and then he split the blade into different polygroups using group by normals. I'd suggest you to try to export something like this:
