Yeah, and as soon as a company purchases it one can be sure to find a "free" copy over the network the next day or two - kindof brings the price down :P Also that animated walks logo is a goldmine in itself. Loving the weight shifting on the chromeball guy. Just learned something for free right there!
[ QUOTE ] mattf, you guys put a lot of work into this stuff and are releasing it for free, that's above any critique in my book. Good going [/ QUOTE ] "BraveTree: Character Pack #1 $39.95 USD Bravetree Character Pack Download Download Size: 12.2MB" Doesn't look like its free.
Fat, dou you know if there is a free (old) version available btw? I'l stuck with the demo at the moment and my 20 trials are almost over now :/ Toomas, that can be a neat effect for sure, but I'd rather go for a simple image for this one, no ps-like effect especially if its for print. But I might try it on another piece…
This is becoming the other new orleans thread. :\ The United States has the most expensive health care system in the world. Costs for ambulance rides and hospital visits are insane. Your scene looks nice but maybe add more stuff in the background. Also, please for the love of all that is free, dont use the ue4 default sky, its low quality and we've all seen it a milion times. There are plenty of free hdris and backdrop skies on the web. Keep it up.
I think it depends on what you mean as doing it faster by hand. I mean, in the time it takes you go to get a cup of coffee and come back, the packing would be done ... or done enough that you could move ahead ... so basically, it's free. And it's hard to beat free. :)
UiToolkit does that too and its free, it even supports multi sprite sheets one for regular resolution and another one 2x for retina. http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/87917-Prime31-UIToolkit-Multi-Resolution-GUI-Solution-Ready-for-Use...and-it-s-free? worked for me so far
both should work. if the PCI Express 1x slot is free (the small white thingy on the motherboard) then just put a card in there. Cards usually have more/bigger antennas than USB sticks so I'd wager they have better reception as well. If it's not free then get a USB stick.
