You can download the android sdk for free and it works with Unity free. Then when it's installed you still need to download and install the right versions (like 4.0,4.1,4.2 etc) with the SDK manager that comes with the package. Then when that's done, I don't think you need internet anymore. -

I use unity, not unreal, but i heard on eat3d that unreal uses different swizzle coordinates (i believe it is X+ Y- Z+ ) the eat3d video is one of the free ones, the guy talks about swizzle around 11: http://eat3d.com/free/xnormal_overview hope that helps! -

Houdini is amazing, but incredibly hard to learn. I thought apprentice was free though? It was free when I first got it. fuck it confused the shit outta me back then. Might try and learn it again. I hear film guys with houdini knowlege get paid a lot. -

Yeah, and as soon as a company purchases it one can be sure to find a "free" copy over the network the next day or two - kindof brings the price down :P Also that animated walks logo is a goldmine in itself. Loving the weight shifting on the chromeball guy. Just learned something for free right there!
