I tried increasing the resolution, it's still very unsightly. These are threads I have looked into and non uniform scaling seems to be any issue. I think they mean not using rectangle shaped meshes that are too long in one direction.… -

Your skin detail...looks wayyy to clean. It needs breakup like a noise. Right now it looks like you just carved out those spots or used a stencil for it. Try adding a subtle noise ontop, or flattening some areas, and or add smaller cracks in-between other cracks. Try using the clay tubes brush with a very light strenght… -

You have the same issue that I'm having. We both need work on our anatomy. Here's a nice quick ref sheet from idrawgirls.com. Your model is about 9 1/2 heads high as opposed to 7-8 heads high. Thank you and thanks for the fast reply! :) The thing is ... i want the bricks to be kind of big.. because the arena is built out of huge bricks. So my grid snap plane in max I built was quickly filled with just 3 of the stones. What would the workflow be to have more bricks so that the tiling will become less noticeable?… -

Agreed if your already 1000 in the hole for this then just set that 1000 as the budget and get something right around that price range. something i can say is the screen can be a big issue my current laptop has by far the best screen i myself have used on a laptop and that would be the lenovo yoga ideapad. i have not tried… -

Ok I spent a bit looking it over. Part of the problem is somehow the arm was unlinked from the clavicle. I changed the null object to a a bone object for the twist just in case. Not the same error now. But still is erroring. I was reading up on wiring in max 9 and noticed a mention of it being changed from older versions.… -
