Well, bear in that the original game's art design research extended to what comic books were popular at that time, and I believe the main story of it was heavily based on one (non-comic) book in particular (title eludes me now...) -

In my free time I've been working on a sci-fi romance comic that I'm planning on posting on webtoon. I don't normally do this much prep work for my comics but I've been taking the opportunity to make some new illustrations and concept art for my portfolio. -

Yeah, the story is very similar to the comic, in that it's Quirt and Sithil stealing something from Rosh (in the comic Demon Edge, in this pitch the Aegis). The question is, for people that know Dota, is it too similar? Again, the story isn't set in stone at all, super open to suggestions/feedback. -

Nice... but I still don't think its really possible to make a Watchmen movie that stays true to the comic. Hell they screw up simple comic book characters 90% of the time. How are they going to go with something as dense and mature as the Watchmen. -

If it's only for design. I think you're on the right direction so far. I love how you visually took the character's silhouette in different direction. "Im so fkn mushy" I literally lol to that one. Its got like the proper comic cloud and text. haha Looks cool so far though, I can imagine the techy arms with the stylized comic character looking really bad-ass! -

You're right, I was going for more of a comic book look but I didn't really use a solid reference, mostly did it from memory. I nudged the proportions a little bit: I was thinking of redoing the skin too to give her a more comic look. -

Bebop and Rocksteady are from the silly Archie versions of the comics. :/ They really don't belong in the TMNT universe. My personal favorites from the old comics, was that leech that latched onto Raphael and sucked out his mutagen. Very disappointed the next movie will be live action, and not fully CG
