thanx for comments again, i personally like this yellow, but if you say so, here's a little bit desaturated version ZacD, it's a 3dmax viewport, only two omnies with black shadows :)
@ZacD Flipping the green helped with some of the details. I still have to figure out how to do my smoothing groups though to get rid of those smoothing errors. With the green channel flipped:
WOW thanks guys.....I didn't realize how much polygons were wasted. I will re-work the model. @ZacD; I will assign different SG to the bevel and see the effect. Will update tonight.
@ZacD @Spwee Thx for your suggestion. I am now using a combination of metallic 0.8 + roughness 0.7; these values feel wrong to me intuitively but somehow I think it looks better in engine:
Forgot to mention that the concept of the drone was made by the guys here at the office. Spark: Cheers bud. :) Going to do a similar shot of the giant. Ill try and fix it this week/weekend. ZacD: Glad you liked it :)
Yeah ZacD is right. You need dual monitors, and a monitor that can go to 1920x1200. Makes life so much easier to the point if I use anything else I become seriously uncomfortable.
@Lampoly, piercing on case if you don't find his face nasty))) @Renaud, thx man!! @ZacD, dunno buddy, haven't played it. @mat, glad you like it, friend! @Jackwhat, thx Jackwhat)
+1 to ZacD, and Darken your background on your website, White tends to make pictures feel really bright and washed out. Try something around the 50% gray range or something neutral.
@ ZacD- Cool! Yeah, something like that. I know there are certain reptiles that have spikey crests/mohawks that run down their face. I've been trying to dig up some good pictures.
ZacD, thanks for the information about the software. It will be surely a north for me to determine which tools to learn. The insight about the tools industry will be looking for was a good thing to have in my mind. Thank you very much!
