Made for artstation challenge concept artists version is in there also, i think did alright for such a concept. the knee joint needs to be worked out, it could also just pass for some sort of rubber, since it will 99% of the time move with all the arms. The hat is my attempt at making it both a "jester" hat and paint… -

thanks for the reply. 2) I just skin the existing bones to my cloak as I see best? for now i imported the mesh as reference,dident care for the bones, I will update to SP3 and check it for you. if modo can import bones correctly i don't need maya. 4) 100% sure? thanks ! -

Doing good so far, I like the chest plate! Imo the material of the cloak looks more plastic than cloth, maybe add some finer surface detail to make it look more like cloth? Also, don't forget to smooth out the skin of your body, and to sculpt the hands, feet, lips,... :smiley: Good luck! -

Little update. Did chainmail pattern, fixed and added some minor things. Would love to hear any suggestions. One thing I am not sure about is: can I make the cloak 2-sided or do I have to double polygons (with shell for example) to create little thickness? What is the standard way of making things like it? -

I was a pure stealth build and I was able to take him down using guns. Shoot at his head, cloak, move to a different cover and repeat. The trick is to keep moving, don't let him get close to you. Even without shield augs you should be able to survive getting hit when running between covers. -

Looking really good, for the clothing/armor I'm liking pieces from each: pants/belts from top left, cloak and boots from top right, one side of the shoulders from bottom left, and maybe the skirt from bottom right. I'm going to keep an eye on this, can't wait to see what you come up with. -

Skin looks quite plastic and shiny in the left image. Are you using a spec map? If you are add some noise to it to break up the overly smooth and shiny look. Also consider adding some green spec colour to the gold or brass cloak pin (again, if you're using a spec map). Diffuse is looking nice, especially around the face :)
