     another note about the resume. It starts on page 2 in the .doc file with page 1 blank. might want to fix that.

     Ah, I'm using MD4 myself, indeed. Not sure about MD3. In MD4 it's accessible from right clicking on a blank space in the canvas.

     You just have to turn off the blank texture map it creates instead. Then you can keep your UVs, polypaint, and polygroups.

     try setting your stats how you want them and save the blank maxfile as maxstart.max in your default max scene folder.

     when i have my object selected, and go to modifier list and select unwrap uvw, the EDIT button in the Parameters menu is greyed/blanked out and i can't press it?
