Ace-Angel: We will go higher than 70-80k for nextgen, atleast occiasionally. I know of characters for this gen who had almost 70k triangles : ))

Sorry for bumping this up, anyone got this to work with 801? I've changed the path to UVlayout.exe but when I fire the script it crashes MODO :\

@SUPAVISI, @XemnasKH You might want to check out "HairFarm". It's as close as you'll probably get, but at $6-800 I'm not sure it's worth it.

Almost finished with the low poly. At the 80k mark with hair but that will change when I add the weapon. Might reduce the shoe laces a bit.

I got mine for about 800. Running AMD though, I'd probably go for Intel though, their new chipsets are pretty awesome.

Hmm - would'nt a "UVW Xform" modifier do the trick ? Setting U/V/W tiling values to 0.125 ( = 1/8 ) would scale the UV coords to 800 % ...
