Hey guys, I am currently working on an animation to improve my demo reel. I would really appreciate feedback on this, thanks. Right now I am looking for critique on general movement and positioning, I am aware of some leg pops and other mistakes like it. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkZyODeD-Ls[/ame]
poopinmymouth :I added the pipe from the toilet tank to the toilet bowl, you're right its weird. Ty for the feedback! Btw: Tokoya: i dont plan to make a site, its really a spare time project, without real delay, but maybe i'll add a pixel art gallery to my site, if i start to have lots of environments.
MORE than 16 sides? CHOO CRAZY!! I was quite chuffed to get it below 1k tbh, I suppose if it was meant to be right up in your face in a first-person game then I'd have given it more of a curve, but the aim of the project was really all about making the wood look like wood, and making the metal look like metal.
That happens to me way too often. Even right now I have a nice piece of concept art I would like to work on, but forgot the artist. I've done many a CGHub searches (which inevitably lead to finding more awesome art). Anyway, that turtle looks good so far. Looking forward to seeing it progress. :)
Thanks, I modeled it off google references, with this being the main one. I moved my lights closer together for composition purposes, and I based the lens model off a more close-up image. Here is a closeup shot of the lens model. It's probably overkill, but hopefully it'll help get the specular to look right in the end.…
wow everyone is so amazing here ... almighty_gir lookin good,! also I really want to learn to make proper robot like Goss :) but meanwhile, this is my current personal stuff you can check the video right here http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/12585128 its 1.40 hours of me poly painting (you can skip it as you want)
Inspired by another scene in this thread, I started playing with a library scene of my own. I think I'm going to try and blow a hole on the wall and have books and bricks scattered about as the focal point. Right now, I only have a book and a stack of candles modeled ... the wood textures were something I sculpted in…
@ SaferDan - Thanks for the link, but ive tried that before and can't seem to get it right :( I just sculpted my first ever rock! It is just a base texture with AO and Normal map on. I think it might be a little too low poly, I dont know though I can easily raise the polycount to make it smoother, just not sure: Uploaded…

Hey guys, New to Polycount forums so I thought I'd dive straight in and show you what I've been bumbling on with today. These are low poly works for the unity game I'm plodding on with right now. Texture resolution for both images is 256x256. Diffuse only, still need to experiment a bit before I normal and specular these.…
