You can import quads, tris, or quads+tris, and it'll even export back to quads if you don't add any tesselation. There's a global subdivide and global decimate, which can also be isolated to visible geometry (hiding things you don't want to decimate). There's also a reduce brush which can be used to clean up areas that are…
lol :D Scudz: yeah you are right, the problem was that i started sculpting from a basemesh without loops so i had to increase subdivs to get some extra detail to work with around the eyes and mouth i think i'm going to give her another look tomorrow and get some more reference to evaluate the forms with
Can't put zbrush away... I got a question for you pro zbrush users... I kinda want to make this into a whole character....but the head was created out of a polysphere... Could I make a base mesh for a body in 3ds max then import into zbrush then attach it to the head/neck of my sculpt so far? So it's one continuous mesh?
Hey, first post here on polycount. I started this little 3d sketch for one of my project. This is the first time i sculpt a face on +1M poly. I've done this without reference to test myself. No render, everything out of Mudbox + Gimp. A little paint layer in Mud too. @ papa_Austin: i like this style, the shades of green…

Excellent, tight sculpt enodmi: comin along well... cant wait to see her with hair Just moved to utah, waiting for comcast to install intertrons at my house, finally found a starbucks. Good to see the WAYWO has kept on rollin hard in my absence. Just been keepin busy doodlin in zbrush, business as…
cheers man, Hes for a sculpting comp so Im just gonna polypaint him and try for a nice render, I still got a lot of refinement to do and to add all the stitching and gross stuff :) hes looking too much like the hulk at the moment :D gauss - thats awesome ruz - nice work, NOW MAKE EM FIGHT haha
Rilem, that kart looks lovely. :D Snowfly, really liking the style on that, though I guess there needs to be a bit more separation between foreground and back. Very cool, though. :) Been trying to get some much-needed sculpting practise done, using 3D Coat. non-reffed from voxel sphere: and a bust based on jouste's…
decided to take part in the CGHub: Bust a Move 3D Jam doing Don Cheadle as War Machine just started the base... gotta fix that nasty ass pole at the neck and form that area out better... could've sculpted this, but zbrush has spoiled me too much for heads, so i wanted to refresh on good old fashioned poly modeling
A mutated giant naked mole rat...(not a Fallout tribute ;))...I considered starting an own thread for it, but I postpone that until I sculpted it...also I have yet to make the inside of the mouth...and I messed up the knee topo...I'll redo that and beef up the thigh a bit...about 6500 tris currently (without SubD…
hey ironbear nice progress, Ive noticed a that youve posed him really stiffly in the concept sculpt, try to get a more natural pose and really nail the anatomy some more like just for an example the neck is pretty much vertical where most peoples necks point slightly forward over thier chest and curve up to the head. rock…
