Hi Guys, I looked on the polycount forum a place where we could share Tutorials. I know about the topic of Gumroad tutorials, but not every tutorial is on Gumroad. Well, This is the most plausible place, but will be cool to have a place named Tutorials =) Well I want to share this video from Chris Legaspi:…
Everyone, hear me out!! I do a lot of my modeling on the go when I work away from my machine using a website called Clara.io. Clara is a browser based tool thats similar to Autodesk, but if you dont know about this site you should! It allows groups of people to work in real time on scenes together its not perfect but…
The black outlines make me think of Borderlands a bit. you could push the style a bit towards that and texture in some comic style ink, would be neat. Either way, its looking cool!
Thanks to this Semi-PBR shader, i was able to achieve this, the UDK 2020 folder https://mega.nz/folder/xcZTSSBC#p09QCQsoKf0dK-Ow--gJvA/folder/9EphFZzL your shader combined with 3d scans and 8k texture makes the UDK render totally match with the realness what our eyes senses when we look arround. Absolutly Amazing! it´s…
Here`s what i`ve got. Model in Fusion 360, render in Keyshot. I don`t know if i`m doing it right, but rules said that you have to attach one image per post, and if you want to show more it`s better to start a topic and give a link to it. So, here is link if you`re interested in more…
Would be handy if the user was able to group a couple shells together and that the exterior shape/bounds of said group is treated as a single shell. But maybe that´s what you meant with cluster groups? Either way, Im looking forward to watching the development of this tool. If it´s better than the packers that are…
Thanks for the comments! No input on my question, though? :s @lotet : I think the neck is about as wide in the front view as I can make it. I don't know how the sternocleidomastoid would make it to the mastoid process otherwise! I don't think I will do anymore work on the base body at this point. I don't want to get stuck…
Hologram receding hairline :) Seriously though - I loved the original series (it´s very popular around here, especially in Czech republic it´s aired all the time) and if I´m ever going to watch this, I´ll be probably clinching my butt again hoping they don´t sink deeper in the crap as with the last "revival". This series…
I could never figure out what the robots actually transformed into most of the time during this flick. It seems they spend most of the time undisguised, and did the robot that crash landed on the moon in the 50's really transform into a fire-truck from the 80's? :o It'd be nice to get some kind of print out with the robot…
Yeah, it should be significantly less memory, though at the cost of a more complex shader (which is not really a problem if you've got one mesh taking the majority of the screenspace). I've seen a lot of skin shader white papers that use this technique. You could use like 4 tiling 256x256(1 512's worth of memory) or…
