Personally, I think the future and when photogrammetry will really take off is when AI/procedural tools will let artists remix photogrammetry data into new assets.
Thank you for the help. I have removed the link and combined some of my images into one and posted those instead. Will keep it in mind for any future posts.
not a chance in its current form, but I love zbrush and think some things like zmesher retopology are going to make production pipelines very smooth in the future
Hi there, thanks for all of the interest. I am currently on with a lot of projects now so will only be taking on paid freelance work in future. all the best, james
Cheers Swagger, I'd not considered with issues with China. Being my first item I'm not hugely expecting to get this one in, but it's something I'll have to remember for the future
They will be getting anodized black in the near future. Was going to powdercoat them with some other parts, but realized the powdercoat would add too much thickness for it to fit properly.
Yeah no problem i understood. Ok that makes sence. I hope they will get this ready in the future - i mean: mirroring one mesh in the middle without a seem :)
he did that, and tried it for some others and will most likely do it in the future. but unless he does it anonymously this will most likely be used in ways he might not support
I looked into the project and UE4/3DO have the same shading, but the lighting is a bit different in the skyboxes. It's something we'll take a look at in the future. Thanks for the report!
For future reference: these are things you think about before modeling a full highpoly. Just modeling three different strups would have been a bunch faster.
