I worked in the legal field for over four years and was educated and involved in advanced digital data recovery on a day-to-day basis. I have no doubt that such a thing as you mentioned exists - it is very possible and likely. As for file size, metadata is extremely lightweight and has virtually no impact on file size. -

This is a HUGE fear of mine. But the film industry has had them forever. Vancouver decided to go with the route of fully funding film and animation over video games. It's why the game studios left, but Sony Imageworks, Dreamworks, Pixar, Digital Domain, and plenty of others recently opened up shop there. -

I've finished second illustration from my "The Lord of the Rings (Eowyn)" digital art-photo project. In previous posts you can see some models which I used in the scene and raw 3d frame. Whole scene was made in 3d. Photo of the model (Szronogrzywa) was taken by me. -

I use one at work and at home as well. I've been using it for almost four years now and really could never go back to a tablet. I never felt comfortable with tablets to begin with, but once I tried a cintiq it completely changed how comfortable I was with digital artwork. -

Hey there, If you are planning on creating a low poly version of your model and you want to bake some high poly stuff on it, then you only need to UV the low-poly. The high poly doesn't need to be unwrapped. There are loads of good tutorials over at Digital Tutors , 3DMotive , The Gnomon Workshop . -

I'm pretty sure that's the magnetic one you saw. There was another site but it's been ages since I looked into this so I'm trying to find it. Why not start with studying digital anatomy figures/scans first and then maybe get an expensive maquette when you're sure you will continue sculpting? -

Totally humble haha I really just come up with something simple that doesn't require explanation, like 3D artist, digital artist or 3D animator (but I don't do animation :P). People get the general idea if the word 3D is in it, and automatically think pixar or something like that. -

The creator of Rhino, also created Moi...so he knows his stuff. He created Moi for speed and ergonomic UI. It's a solid modeler, so mostly Boolean tools. Rhino is a surface modeler, so the tools focus on splines. For concepts, and anything that remains purely digital...keep it simple.
