Update: Updated textures on my graduate piece.. Stryker. Will be getting the renders of the props for my modular building set rendered out. Not really sure why my images are showing up a tad bit blurry, tried hosting it through blogger and photobucket.. both give me the same results.. perhaps someone knows why? -

Iv changed the name of this thread, I don't think I currently have the skills (or time) to get an asset into dayz, so this is now going to be my learning thread. I will update it as I try new things, and hopefully you can all tell me what im doing wrong :p updates to follow :) -

quick update: - added variation to the brick walls - added variation to the wood (if you notice, there's less spec wood, and a bit dryer than the common one). - Fixed seams where the columns and the wood parts were showing - lighting updated, a bit of variation. - postfx, yes, I did add the light shafts, who doesnt right? -

HI guys! Small update) Sculpt of an old alchemy symbol in zbrush, then base texture in ddo and finished in substance painter. I've also made some normal maps in substance designer using built in generators and some custom textures and stencils. Kirill is working on a King's family corpses now.. Yeah, dead bodies)) Update… -

Your latest update is quite a bit better, the colors are the most noticeable change. That and the removal of the bloom effect. Keep it up! :D I gotta ask though, why does the latest update have no eyebrows?! O.o add those, then fix the nose and mouth and you'll be well on your way to having a nice portfolio piece. -

Kind of an update Been quite absent as of late cos... new job! Got a contract with PING (yep, the golf company) doing environment art on a project so had to backburner a few personal projects for a bit sos I could feed myself Loving it here and got a few updates on this and other projects coming as well... -

Wow, it's cool how you just kept improving a lot with every update. I can't really remark much on that final update anymore, you pretty much nailed it there. Funny, I remember thinking how you were probably a joke with that silly poll in your first post. Nice job proving me wrong! -

UPDATE #1: Favela Block Out Ciao! After watching a few tutorials and bunch of testing and experimenting. Here is a quick progress update for this week. Just testing out with a box and create very basic type of roofs. The windows are currently traditional modeled for testing purposes. There will be more coming next week.… -

Thanks for the input everyone. Valid point, how ever keep in mind this is a pretty common asset. There are only x amount of hydrants. i'm just following my references:) I apologize about the lack of update, went on a hiatus on this one to finish some other work. Here is an update on the sculpt. Texturing/baking next up :) -

Another update, got all the colors on and working on the localized stuff like the weapons and rotor blades. I have a soft spec all over and a temp AO so far. I have a few areas on the mesh I'd like to attend to like the step under the window, the exhausts for the engine and on the tail. Anyways here's the Update
