Thanks guys! I started messing with the hair a bit. I'm not sure I like it yet. I want to try stylizing it a little and adding the braids to see if it works better.
updated WIP of my stylized batman still need some work and details and stuff This is the one that i would eventually like to practice animating with morph targeted face and all
I love the simplification you did on your clothing folds. Keeping them so simple and with almost a hardmodeled feel really adds to the idea she is a stylized/graphic character.
Anatomy looks super cool. How do you get in such clean shape? I struggle with stylization a lot somehow my stuff ends up in the more realistic departement.
It's really nice for UV mapping and auto-topo, and one of the best 3d painting applications for stylized non-pbr work. Already have a copy of it though. It does a bit of everything.
I like it! Personally i wanna see even more crystals on him, but thats just me :) Lovin the stylization on his face. Can't wait to see the rest of it man!
It might be of interest to you, I recently made a thread discussing copyrights and models: http://polycount.com/discussion/180218/where-do-stylized-props-fall-under-copyright-status
Man I love the texture on that weapon crate, the colors are fantastic. Did each artist do their textures start to finish, or were they handed off to someone for the stylized line work?
This is a cool character. I love the contrast of his old stylized weathered face to the nice stream lined costume. It doesn't look weird to the eyes it flows nicely. I dig.
Hi again ! I think it's totally okay to stylize and exaggerate for the sake of a cartoon illustration ; but if we are talking about accuracy here, this is what I meant : I hope this helps !
