Update: Tue. Dec. 10, 2019: Completed most of the main shabby outfit, refined the head/face, did the legs and feet, and made the hands younger-looking. :) Face close-ups: Hands (younger than before): Shabby shirt: Rugged pants: Legs and feet: Thanks for your feedback @JohannesAg. Niice! I like a lot of the new stuff, esp the belt and the new pants/legs. the gun is a really nice touch too. I really liked the straps on the old wristband though, I dont think the engravings/pattern thingie you have right now is working. I also feel the details on the wooden leg are to small and noisy. -

You should indeed probably try to merge roughness and metallic and maybe AO into a single RGB map to save on texture samples and video memory.If you build your substances in Designer, you can still expose all the parameters you want, just make sure you use a rgb merge node at the end before publishing. -

Looks rather like one of the older iterations of the Warhound Titans from Epic 40,000/Titan Legions. That could make for a useful design reference. At this stage, I'd suggest the way his legs and hips are designed feels a bit awkward. Extending his metatarsals so that he's got more digitigrade legs would probably help a… -

They have 15 vehicles, so your doing 30 textures 15 normal and 15 snow. The Low , Med and High is only the category they fit into. So 5 are low armor 7 are med armor and 3 are high armor, your not doing more but you need to pack them accordingly -

Hmm, if you don't weigh the bottom front of the pants to the lower leg, but only to the thigh, the joint will just be hidden under there and it wont show him as having a missing knee (of course I can't see the topology of the leg part under the cloth). But the back hem would have to move. Saw this in the low poly thread,…
