Yep 100% digital. Pencil, pen, then fill layers and alpha masks for shading. I have it set up through Dropbox so I can send the .PSD to Procreate and back. In the image above, the left one is done on my computer and the middle and right were done in Procreate.
This is Psy armor - final one in 4 armors we built for Imperatum project. Interesting thing when creating 4 items in the set is each of them has to be unique but still display one theme color required. More hires & 3D viewer at: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/yblq1O
GoPro cameras can also sync together making the capture of 3d tracking data possible. I did some facial mocap with ps3 eye cameras using ipisoft to sync them, results were ok, the resolution wasn't high enough to get good data though.
It's a bit difficult to diagnose issues from one screenshot that isn't zoomed in on the problem area you've specified. Could you provide more information? Images of your UVs in DDO's albedo PSD (with highlighted trouble areas) or a video of some sort would help with figuring this one out.
This building seems really under-budget polygon use. You really need to take a closer look at the Crysis 2 levels. This currently looks more like PS2 budget. Collect reference of what each thing in this scene should look like, and treat them with the attention they deserve.
I like the drop pod, but I felt really confused with the site, like I didnt even know where to click, might be my eyes, or the text kinda blends in to everything else, the layout feels very noisy to me. "edit" is there a resume? guessing you are going to PSQ?
SLIMEface found an easy workaround for that. You can either import a PSD with as many layers as you need, or you can just duplicate an existing layer in 3D coat. Great videos btw! Looks like a nice way to paint textures. They look much more alive and sexy.
im actually looking for teh same thing. for my my iphone. so, if you find anything good, lemme know. you can get sacred,. im thinkin of pickin it up. i loved sacred 2 for ps3. havent played the first though. nore on iphone
Rapid iteration is really important to me. At the moment we're using Unity and quite simple material, and it's a dream to save in your 3d package and have it automatically load the model and psd into Unity. If you can't see your stuff ingame from an early stage, you're flying blind.
Thanks man! Im not available for work at the moment, im military. OK, Ive got some maps and wires fro some of the stuff. Ill separate them into different posts. Lol, I made the grain on purpose, I believe I still have the PSD file still.
