Hi, Working on a stylized stone golem, for the purpose of being an enemy in game. Not looking to copy exact Refs, but to create something unique and fun to look at. Modeling, posture and silhouette advises are more than welcome :) references-
The layout looks pretty good compared to the images I just looked up for Tina's room on Google. I'm curious, are you aiming for realistic, stylized, or cartoony for the final aesthetic?
The Overwatch environments are some of my favourite environments of all time. Your work never fails to inspire me! From the stylized materials to the mega-pleasing shapes, it's all gorgeous!
I have to say I really like the newer tech stylized stuff like diable 3 and dota2, not sure if they use normal maps but they definietly use newer tech.
In every pixar movie and stylized game, glass looks like glass, metal looks like metal, it may be pushed to an extreme, but having the a starting place is definitely a time saver.
Hey guys this is Luke Esquilin. For my scene ill be doing this small stylized hillside and incorporate some more rocks into the landscape to make it a diorama. Good luck to everyone on this semester!
Something a little too stylized perhaps but here it is anyway. Going to call this one done, though I might try another version at some point If I get the time.
stevston89 did a great stylized dagger with a PBR workflow. If you do it right I think it could look really good. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=135431
Got the chair done, i used it as an experiment to come up with a hand painted/stylized pbr mix technique using substance painter that i wanted the whole scene to have.
Picked back up and doing some stylized PBR for this. Already testing on weapon. High poly for Pirate almost done. Need to go back over hair and leg wraps.
