I always did this type of rounded bevel with the spin tool in Blender. I've also been looking for the equivalent in Maya but so far the closest I've come across is 'edit mesh > wedge'. I hate that it's the one tool you have to be in multi mode to use, also you have to delete the extra faces afterwards :/
Well it's two days late and there is practically zero marketing for it(at this point I just had to get it up ASAP, even though it's likely it won't be considered at all for being a couple days late to the deadline) but here is that Puck set I was working on. I think I learned a lot while making this set and it was fun…
honestly, i think this game is gonna rock... since i skate myself, i feel an accurate portrayal of the sport (the art) should exist in the video-game land... the "button mash + analogue turn" to do a huge combo in Tony Hawk's is getting boring, this realism is welcome! i want my thumb aching after i land my first 360 flip!…
How... Why?? I both hate you and love you at the same time! is that even possible? Awesome work there mate! keep that stuff rolling! one question, how did you make the engine parts?

Man Totems was one of the games i was totally wishing for, really sucks it got canceled same sad fate Cuter Slate faced.... its sucks no one gonna safe this awesome project it seems. *sigh*
yeah astro, the concept is awesome but the setting is really lame. I hate all these 'you're going to be the one who pulls the trigger and kill sadams sons!' games.. I feel ill just looking at them
yeah, so sorry for the late reply in all of this. Life has been difficult at times, not to mention this computer has been wonky lately but I think I've got it straightened out and was able to put in some more work on this shot...there are a few others one I work on too so I don't get burned out but it's still for a list…
