The shape of the back of the turret seems off (too square), it should be more trapezoid-like. There also seems to be a lot of pointless edge loops running on the low poly that could easily be removed to lower the polycount or thrown at larger/more important shapes like the wheels or turret. I like how it's going right now. I feel it could use a horizontal line or 2 to help give the rock a sense of age and judging from the concepts a more fierce extrusion that help deviate from the rocks main form.. The UV shell in the middle looks a bit wrong. I assume its bit around the barrel lid? I think it should look kinda long and thin, I think yours would stretched. It would probably give you more room as well. Its also quite near the other shells (touching one) if you were to bake a normal map you would probably get errors.… -

Personally I'd create it modular: 45/90 degree sections, T-junctions, cross-junctions, curved sections. I'd use simple edge extrusion modeling.
