keep going bro :D i think you should define the back of the head and the neck a bit more as of right now it has a "heavy" feel... not sure if you get what i mean :D
definately 9... no seriously, I think it's fine without some kind of smush on top of the helmet... I;m always dissapointed when people ruin their mesh by adding too many bits sticking out.
The horns and face look super cool. Not a big fan of the hands. The proportions could work but right now the hands feel too bloated IMO. I'd expect some more defined musculature/ sharper shapes.
I think you're mostly confused by his parameter naming, it's really simple code. Also, "fn" means he's defining a function. The rest of the stuff you can just look up in the maxscript reference.
Rawr, good to see friends setting up camp here aswell :) Throw some nosie down on the white areas on the chassis or add some defining features to it, itll make it stand out a little more ;)
Congratulations on successful kickstarter campaign I will suggest you run few more passes on cloth wrinkles and energy things around characters both look and feel plasticky -> using/defining planes will easily fix that
Thanks, but it gives "-- Syntax error: at else expected <factor -- In line else (" As far as I know you could't define a local variable from the top level of MAXScript, because you will receive an error message
I have gSkill memory and it has been absolutely faultless for the last 4years of owning it. About to build a new system and definately getting 12Gb... thoroughly tempted to go all in and get 24Gb though :p
The new face looks way better now. I like the Samus inspired suit design. The shapes need more defining by way of shadows/highlights and working on the lines like Gusti mentioned should help.
I usually define it like that : - Texture = individual bitmap file. - Texture Set = a collection of bitmap files. I'm not sure how correct this is, but this the naming convention that I use with my colleagues without any problems.
