It has taken way too long, but part 2 is finally uploaded... http://youtu.be/ZbaPXBCsW_8 Edit:// Damn, I began working on the HP and I just realized that I forgot to press record... Should I re-do the high-poly and make so to record it? Y/N? It won't be too much of a hassle for me, but is it something you would want to see?
Here's an image search to give you ideas on how to tackle that door: http://www.google.com/images?oe=UTF-8&gfns=1&q=wood+iron+door&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1680&bih=858 They all either have wood frames or wrought iron hinges for support.
Fantastic. Not that I distrust anybody here, but I was left with some doubts as I have done quite a bit of editing after baking and never noticed a difference. However, this was very quick n dirty work -- not focused on high quality whatsoever. So it's not like I was looking very close. But this explanation makes it very…
so after the first three episodes.. (well after the first period lol) me and my brother are hooked on this show. :D i think its great how it starts off the show with a different story about the house and then has it in some way tie in to the new family. the backstory of everything is something that makes this really…
oooooohhh my gawwwd. such nostalgia with the pro carbine :D for all of the holes and such I think you should add support loops around them before you smooth. Also it will probably help to run your edges around the model so you don't have n-gons. You should have a cleaner smooth result if you keep it quads as best as you…
if it's drink you guys are after, downtown in downtown Seattle I can recommend a couple places. Fado is an "irish" bar with some reasonable happy hour prices though i don't know if that includes Sat. A bit more shabby but still kinda cool and cheap is The Owl n' Thistle. Both of those are only a couple blocks from Hotel…
Good suggestions all, going to play with these. Sorry can't show any pictures, client is the cloak-n-dagger type. Per, I just save the render from Max as a 16bit TIFF, works OK for me. Mop have you ever actually banned someone? I'd be mighty pissed if you tried to ban me. Not my fault Per has ADD.
cool. I'm likin the design on this one. Anything beats that big ass black box. I'm really looking forward to the may 12th MTV show so I can get a glimpse of this thing in action. After that I begin the wait to see what the big N is gonna show at E3. I hope they can reclaim a chunk of the console market this time around.
Yes, although chamfering is the natural thing to do to quickly get rid of the over smoothing issue and keep the model in its form, it's better to connect new edges so you don't get N-gons and other nasty geometry. Best thing for you to do would be to watch this tutorial so you can get a good idea of subdivision modeling:…
I don't really take my 2d skills as seriously as I should because guys like you exist :P Making that bar SO damn high :P The closest thing I have to a polished 2d piece is stuff like this n this I was thinking about maybe taking one of those hobos through a coloring process though. Good idea :)
