Yup and go steal a few games while your at it. Smooth. neeter: just learn to assemble the stuff yourself. a retard could do it these days. Its like fitting lego together. The harder part is choosing good components which you seem to have done.
I try to stick to racing and platform games with my 2 sons (2.5 & 4.5 years). There are enough fun games that don't involve much violence or at least realistic looking violence. These days Lego Star Wars II co-op rules my Xbox.
Sir Spamalot gogo! think Im calling this done, at least for now. could probably had set up better lightning for a camera turntable, have some pretty strong backlights. but getting tired :P schleepy.. [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=sURDzG8MTVg[/ame]
I find it shocking to read that today's youth gets exposed to vile filth such as megablocks. After even a short amount of exposure I required extensive therapy. Back in my day we had lego and all was well. But this ... Won't somebody please think of the children ?
I think Funcom used Blender primarily for modeling on a Lego game they did some time ago. I remember reading about a conference they did on using Blender for game art, but it's a bit vague in my memory. Maybe someone can exhume some links.
I think the idea has a lot of promise. On the other hand, when the marketing makes it look so smooth and wrinkle-free people just get cynical. It's like 'yeah OK'. They should be treating it more like the prototype it is; that little lego demonstration was hard to watch.
Nah pogo, a wigger is a wigger here, too. A Chav is a person who wears all the sports get up, but the real tell-tale sign is their speach. "'Ere Mate 'Ave Y'u Go' A Cig". Its all down the groups too.. they're rarely alone.
You sir are awesome ;D I will have him rigged and beatin the crap outta sumat this weekend I hope ;) animating Lego characters nonestop brings out my violent side ^^ Again great progress everyone! Some seriously amazing work going on ;)
Great advice guys. thanks for that. Decided to prune the crappy stuff ie lego characters etc. I will work on a more consistent labelling system tomorrow re the missing links, I have been uploading re uploading , deleting all day, brain hurts
Here is my textured model in Unreal. Im still working on the logs, but I really like how it's looking so far Any feedback would be very welcome! And here is the render in Marmoset
