I think the calves are a little too flat to have that super defined crease in the back. Also would be cool if the tear in his clothing was an actual tear and exposed his skin. Keep up the good work!
Don't be so stingy with the polygons. You rock would look a lot better if it had more of a defined silhouette. Adding alpha planes around your bushes will make them look a lot more interesting.
Little bit of an update over the weekend, still trying to define more rock formations and get more solidity in the islands around, a lot more assets planned and considering making some sea/wild life
@Adelphia I'm really impressed not about the moss but about the leaf. Do you place it procedurally on the vine ? if yes how ? I'm really curious about it, and if it's possible to generate a splatter with a mask to define where they are placed.
I'm glad it worked! I found that setting while scripting, because you can define custom accuracy for every spinner or just leave it to the default, but I needed to know how to set that default value :)
So I finished the character. Definately learnt a lot with this as my first character. I always tried to avoid character art, but I'm starting to take a liking to it. Here's my beauty shot: Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Good to see you posting bro! I like the silhouette of your creature, but I think you should define his muscle structure a bit more before jumping to the skin wrinkles and scale textures.
Yeah, I guess that´s what happened. I´m always nitpicking for detail but not seeing sometimes the whole thing. Thanks for all that input @perna definately will have it into account. Thanks man, I appreciate it ;)
Hey this is looking awesome! Really love the victorian style myself, so definately going to sub this! Also, can you maybe show your workflow on how you did the water puddles on the stone ground?
Small update. Now I have to define all parts and give them some details. I will spend more time for the rendering as soon as this char is finished. Here we go, feedback would be great.
