There's a way round this bit at least. Assign a blank non-square texture in the right proportions, and then click the "use image ratio on/off" button in the UV window. -

You need to integrate the way you did the character page into the props, cause white background and no back button really sucks and is inconsistent with the rest of the pages. -

I'm a bit maya fuzzy now, but if you ctrl+shift click a feature, it becomes a button on your top toolbar. Not sure if that's what you're looking for. -

the button to go back the main menu is too small. I had trouble finding it the first time. Maybe make it larger and more clear what it is. -

You were very close. First make a layer, then press the Setup / Animation Mode Toggle button. After that you can keyframe. -

You can scale all subtools with the gizmo, just click this button on the end of the gizmo settings. Make sure all subtools are unmasked.
