im wondering.. if you remove the scope and ironsight from the low poly, how drastically does the tri count drop. youve got way too many polygons on the scope, grip (not the attached one but the one that is part of the body), and muzzle flash hider. id say it could still be reduced quite a bit. probably down to 7-8k.. if… -

I still don't get why they don't do a tablet (slate) with there own technique in it, like the Samsung slate 7. I red that this new 22" screen is actually the same old one that was in the old 24HD one, with 92% aRGB. The new 24" version got a new screen with 98% of aRGB though. The prices on these are still fucking insane! -

Sorry honestly i have not yet used it just installed it :) wanted to mess around with it as soon as the heat phase of university is done with (you know papers of "the process of social policy in contemporary japan" don't write well when messing around with 3d software 24/7). So maybe someone can answer it i hope...sorry :) -

Martin: tried Ultima 7, Serpent Isle? It's old and DOS (runs via Exult emu though) but it's definitely in a league with games like Planescape. Other game I really liked is The Witcher. Combat ain't exciting but it's a nice break from the old cliche story telling with its "obvious good choice" / "obvious bad choice" sort of… -

Does school really influence you guys that much? I dropped history, drawing and music as soon as I could and now I'm studying history at university, drawing a couple of pages a day, while listening to Bach. My video Card is an AMD FirePro V7900 and I have updated the drivers. I am running Windows 7 64bit The issue happens in any situation, or with any light. I have attached a screenprint, a render shot and the light settings I used. The texture maps (Diffuse,Normal and Specular) I applied to my character are TGA's at 2k. -

The latest beta nvidia drivers (released for the Crysis demo) have native support for antialiasing in UT3. Just go to the UT3 profile in the driver options, set your overides, and play!
