you need to think about scale too that gazebo is way too big and your ground text needs to be up rezed The lighting still doesnt match your sky dome if you have a stormie sky your shadows arent nearly as harsh and the light it self is a little to bright keep it up
clavicle is still flat and level, needs a curve, look at your own clavicle. the stomach from ribs to hips is very flat, a little more shaping could help. the arms look to short -her hands arent coming down far enough on her thighs. i really like the skates, they are awesome : ]
Thanks ! Also for not encrypted them. Was planning to do a little turbosmooth toggle tool hehe. Btw, you can copy paste uv shells inside the unwrap to stack them (shells that have the same topology, vertices order, so basically attached copies). I know people arent always aware of it.
those bumpy bits go all away around to the edge - yours end early. and howcome they arent straight or was that part of your design? seems you've got a bit of pinching on the cheek part, see what you can do about that anyway keep it up, looks like its taking shape
Since I've had a few people ask me, here is a link to the full resolution image of my entry... And here are my texture layouts... These arent totally up to date but they're close, and I'm too lazy to make new ones Any of the game res guys might enjoy the UV packing
Yeah thats a bit much to say the least, for $300 i expect atleast 40 or 60 gigs. But obviously they arent marketing to people who want the most memory for their money, they already have those products. They want the wankers who just want to have the prettiest new piece of crap to brag about.
We dont use attachements on polycount, which means the images arent uploaded to polycount's server in order to minimize bandwith and server space. What you can do is upload your pics to some free webspace or image hosting service like Imageshack and then put the links or add the images in your posts :)
what about people who arent students but would like to learn new software? surely they could give a non-commercial version free for those interested in learning the software. Just because I finished uni 2 years ago doesnt mean I want to stop learning.
Sculpting is really divorced from modelling. They are two totally different things(they arent but they are). You can create basemeshes and whatever in other programs but when you sculpt your not modelling anymore. Its fluid its fast, its fun, its a whole different skillset. Learning it whenever will be no detriment.
