i like the idea of some hard armor on slark and the dagger aswell. not sure about the furion set though. i'd offer to make the slark stuff but i don't even have time to finish what i started so far ^^. keep up the good work!
Hello Polycount I'm new around here and this is my first post I was looking for some critique for this character I'm working on for class, any comments are welcome. Front View Back View Side View Here is the original concept Soon will be posting progress in the armor and weapon
Amulets & Armor A bit of an obscure and crappy looking one with limited customization, but dammit, multiplayer LAN cooperative first-person real-time RPGs are rare enough as it is Also Final Fantasy V (job system!) and Ultima VII. Biased heavily toward IV and VI though...
Working on the base, ready soon to put some armor.. Gloves and boots later so I can sculpt em in a different Subtool (feel like that's gonna be the hardest part for me) I'm no character artist so any advice on anatomy is veeery welcome : Thanks in advance!
Mass update Lina: CM: AM: Head-rig done note: when I compiled into Dota I set it to "belt" so the hair is still there. Shoulder-rig done Belt-rig with a little cliping Armor-Does not want to work right:poly118: Arms-same as above:poly127:
dani, these cute characters are awesome! kendmd, love'n these armor pieces! xavi, I like the technique you've got going with areas of light and solid shadow. trying to get looser with this one. couldn't resist a few PS tweaks, so I shall post them both:
Step 7 is complete, and with that concludes the 'body' portion of our series. I'll be moving onto the Face and Head in the next step, then onto modeling her armor, equipment, and weapons. Check out our project at www.earthprimeval.com And click here to start over from the beginning of our series.
Agreed with everything said so far, particularly on the texturing and I've nothing more to add. I'm not sure if anyone's said this yet, but the modeling in on the armored officer need to me a touch more poly-efficient. Those pie faces take up more tris than neccessary.
Looks cool, but the eyes are too far back, and the eyebrow area needs a serious reshape. Also the roman theme seems to be only visible in the helmet and the shoulders... maybe adding a more roman styled torso armor and leg/arm protectors would make it look more roman.
Hehe THX guys. I appreciate the love u give me . Here's the latest update: I added the body, kilt, shirt, and armor. All parts are still WIP as I want to block in things first. Next is belt and sash. Hope u like it. Servus!
