ZBrush + Topogun solves 99% of my problems, hardsurface? just toss in max or maya for another minute after topo'ing. obviously depends on the specific prop but I love this workflow.
narrowed it down some more and setting 'maximum processor state' to 99 percent fixed it totally. somehting to do with disablling turbo boost which i know nothing about
It is free, and it is a full-use license. Terragen is superior, but you have to pay (admittedly only $99) for a commercial license, so it's a good deal if you can make money with it :P
Say what you wish guys, but if it wasn't for piracy, 99% of the people here, would have never be here! Remenber that old 3dsmax* torrent that started it all for you? yeah... ;)
Its not when a company pays $99 but there is few options for the rest of the people who isnt working commercial. But im not sad, found a very good alternativ as i said before!
been there, back in 99, had shoulder surgery. spent a month sorta bored. picked up a voodoo 3 card and kicked ass in team fortress classic. was mucho fun.
this is a good contender for the shit prize. Circa 4/99 just before a failed 3 year attempt to stay the course in computer engineering/science; 1st 3d with Animation Master
I wouldnt say it bakes that well, but I dont care all that much, 99% of the time its not worth it to bake it somewhere else, imho. But then im not so picky about artifacts etc either.
awesome paint overs dude, they look like 3d renders. It would be great to see some old returning levels themes from UT 99 like the temple ruins. My favorite of the series :)
haha, dude! Going through that page brought back CRAZY memories. Wild! Also, fullsize pic: http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v2144/166/99/575925708/n575925708_2529310_8113.jpg
