Fantastic tutorial, thanks! Here's a script (not mine, check out the whole topic) that could help you in fast fake-ing round edges in 3ds max: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2337257&postcount=47
some companies are a bit age predjudice , but i figure on the whole that if you are good enough you will get a chance. I was 35 when i broke in to the industry back in 2002/3 47 this year and still working as a freelancer.
maybe getting head shotted from way way far by someone jumping in the air using an AK-47 wont be so bad if the player model is a cute anime looking character
omg i love that Ak-47, i stalk you for like a month now, you did such a good job!! can't wait to see what you make for a contest, may i know what is going to be your inspiration for the contest ?
My dad, at the age of 47, has beat every single RTS game I've been able to throw at him, and on hard too. Not to mention HL1+BS,2 and GunMan... He can even kick my ass in Total Annihilation!
This is a page for my Work In Progress skin for the 70's and 80's Sci-fi contest. My idea is a sort of Terminator style robot for the ak-47. I will be updating this with images for opinions as I work on it.
MACHiN3tools just uses Blender's region_to_loop op. It's part of the SmartEdge tool, which does different things depending on context, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdqpxrTLnOc&t=1067s at 17:47
6 hours tutorial for donut? :D I was thinking of something more like AK-47 tutorial by chamferzone. That would describe the ui like I never saw it before and take me through the process from nothing to AAA game asset.
