ZPanzer- I really like your Zbrush doodle. Are you going to continue working on it? Here's a character model I started a couple weeks ago. I posted various stages of it on my digital sketchbook, and thought that I might post it here as well.
Little more lunch crunch hard surface practice. Epic concept from Sam Brown and his robot army. Lots of cut holes, nuts and bolts to get my head around. Working on a zbrush rocky base and a render that better shows the detailing.
I decided to try designing a suit of armor using zBrush. It's not really done as there's no detailing done on it and it misses a lot of bolts and leather straps, but I feel I figured out the workflow well enough and I need to move on. And here's the beginnings of a digital ecorche:
Whoa Drav that is awesome. I thought Gameloft was doing mostly mobile stuff? Here is a couple things I have been working on. A little bug for an art test: and I updated my Zbrush plugin with a few new things. Check it out on the tread.
Very cool! Thanks so much for the examples. In addition, if you are using xNormal scale is sorta important. I got really bad results using Zbrush's default (crazy tiny) scale. I had to scale it up like 1000% within xNormal.
Great rocks Glode! Love them! What's your workflow for them? I've tried a few without much luck going Sphere > Move Brush > Planar > Remesh > General cutting, polishing, then noising it up. Do you start with a basemesh or a ZBrush primitive?
fast VPR done with zbrush after retopology with my lovely new topogun that i bough some days ago, it was a great help ! :D my goal : making a greek sculpture done by an unknown alien. ps : not safe for work because of his willie. ^^;
from basemesh, better part of the evening to this state. also first real crack at a female model. not sure who this is yet. tomorrow refine general anatomy, details (fingernails and more wrinkles etc) i think. havent been in zbrush for over a month, this was a lot of fun.
Zwebbie, that's awesome. I love the simplicity, she has a lot of character! If you don't mind me asking, what matcap and BPR (I assume?) settings are you using? Having a hard time rendering anything with ambience decently in zbrush, would be great to know. :)
af3d - Maybe our turtle dudes can be friends :P Here's one i've been working on! This is a project to learn zbrush primarily, as I feel I'm getting a bit left behind using mudbox :( All in Zed, wip, some bits are still blockouts.
