update 2: Fleshed out the robotic guts: Each wheel has its own robotic arm. Also each pair of wheels gets its own engine. I want the outside shell to look sleek with some wear n tear. In contrast the interior guts are going to be highly detailed and grunged up. I can't wait to dDo this bitch! -

Block out your environment. Have some really simple placeholder meshes, possibly with a quick n dirty texture(heck just vertex color might be nice), before you go and make finished props. Not that your props are bad or anything (though pretty bland so far) but blocking in things will help you prioritize and create order in… -

I don't have anything recent with my webstuff but I took this with my lil' Canon S30. The color is pretty right on, surprisingly. I noticed digicams have trouble with strong colors in bright light. My flowers n' such tend to bleed in bright sunlight. I wonder if the newer cameras have dealt better with that. Waddyathink?… -

There are probably programs for this, copying settings from old to new. If that doesn't work... install a new copy of the software in another folder, then do a difference-compare between the two folders. Once I installed the clean copy, then used a down-n-dirty way to isolate what's different, but it's an involved process… -
