Reminds me of the guy in 5th element, who comes to the grave where the stones are kept right in the beginning. Liked this because I'm balding and have a shitty beard, so I like seeing these kind of guys.
WIP - Working real slow on the laptop. But here is a quick update on this Galio Ultimate Splash. Still probably gonna add another element attack with another champion. what you guys think? Attachment not found.
The fix is easy, go to polygon mode or element mode, then select all and detach as another object (and then delete the leftover object that has 0 verts) It's one of the lovely "features" of 3d max that I've gotten used to :(
Do you have hard edges on the lowpoly? If so, that would cause these seams. You either need to set all of your edges to soft, or split every hard edge off to a separate uv element.
@rico yeah its supposed to be thin, and thank you @$!nz yeah i had originally desiened it as seperate elements, but i found it saved tris making one object or maybe im wrong ha
Solid base textures. Could definitely use some color if you want an easyw ay to pop elements of the rifle out. Good job up to this point, I think. I'm thinking Destiny inspiration:
To add a little bit to what CrackRockSteady said, I believe, fully baked normal maps are not used in movies, they are only used for smaller details, and the elements are always modeled out, edges are rounded in the geo, etc.
I really like the mixture of American muscle in your vehicle. I see elements of Mustangs, Camaros, and Chargers, which is really cool, because I'm a huge Mustang fan. Excellent work!!! :D
I had another gaming dream fellows, it was some obscure platformer/rpg that didn't exist it was about some orphan kid who used the souls of his ancestors in order to use elemental and athletic abilities.
Did some work on the texture. Had some problems with the greenish metal, but I think it went well. Still a lot to go (rework the rusted leaks, add some more characteristics/story elements etc.)
