nice stuff eric. The colors and strokes on the brush test are beautiful, and you really nailed the forms on the metal shoulder armor face thing. The brown dude in the last one reminds me of the giant rock guy from the never ending story.
Wow, thank you so much for the input! The high heels was an experiment on my part, I was trying to lay down some armor but still give her a feminine look, but obviously breaks the style. I'll post the fixes asap. -Neil
Looks great! I have a questin for you, im guessing you made the high res in zbrush, but for the armor and boots and more flat objects, did you high res them in zbrush, or how did you create those? -Buddikaman-
Thanks everyone @neo_god I´ll be adding more of such Art Nouveau to the armour here and there in gold color. At least thats what i´ve planned. But i first need to do the armour plates, which is quite tedious :/ Granted, the tissue starts quite abrupt, as its 2 seperate pieces ive just stuck into each other (tissue and…
Army (ADF) Australian Defence Force - 12 mths as a reservist then remaining 6yrs full time regular and because I didn't want to walk everywhere, both enlistments were spent serving with armored cavalry reconnaissance regiments :# At the moment we're in a similar situation. It's horrendously expensive maintaining a…
Holla, My contribution to texturing Bobo's demon. His style and armor was inspired by World of Warcraft's art direction; Still a WIP Check out my blog for the unwrap. Thanks :)
fixed some anatomy proportions and sculpted face, feet and hands..i did not too much work on details, couse i'll cover it with armor, i'll detail the uncover part later. P.s. have a lot of problem on upload image...the INSERT IMAGE button doesnt work :(
Looks great! my only critque would be that it feels like it needs one more pass for details, especially on his armor (shoulder pads, break up the perfectness of the mail on the back helm) these little details will catch light and keep the eye moving around the character more.
latest turns... Modeled the mask and the armor, and added little stuff, belt holes n straps and such. tried to fix some folds also, messin with zbrush rendering stuff. still stuff to do, but I want to finish up soon; so i can start the retopo
The scale is based on the polygon size and shape. I don't think it would be a useful technique for this kind of armor. Instead I'd just take the base that you had before micromesh, and either use the topology brush or some polygroups to create some cleaner, thicker strips on top.
