Yeah man, either bevel the edge, or use you modular textures creatively. What you have is more of a wall, though, and is kind of single use, which will limit it's potential use.
Thanks for your fast answer teddy, but I get an error everytime I want to start the reimporter (See Screenshot!) I am running the newest version of creative cloud photoshop :/
i love the idea of using masks to define materials and grime/scratches. it may take a bit more creativity out of the texturing process, but i think its a huge help with consistency. :)
Good find! Thanks for sharing this great interview. I really like the way his mind works. His concepts show so much creativity on top of his rendering skills.
This was a game i created in which i had to take inspiration from a movie and i chose "MirrorMask" as i felt it was something that was very creative and very fun to take inspiration from :)
