Thank you so very much equil !!! This is exactly what I needed, works great, you have taken taken a huge amount of stress off me. Have a fantastic day :)
You can easily make that being as neutral as possible and end up making different kinds of people out of that one model, being anatomically real, and sell that model for quite an amount of money
Thanks! Most of the idea's just came from experimenting, but these are the images I looked at while creating the materials for the ak. I wanted to have the same amount of color variation on the skin, or even more.
Everyone yapping about "Brands" Only brand is Good Work. Once you realize this fact you will be Constantly Swooping Mass Amounts of Work. Most Guys have no Idea at All about this.
lol per thanks. Awesome post. (dont think america or other countries are too much better though. You wouldnt believe the amount of crazy fucked up people that exist EVERYWHERE)
Ah that's a pretty sweet style you've going there. Seems like not too much of anything, but just the right amount of everything...detail, points of interest, little shiny dots. Love it. Plus boobs.
It is very nebulous. My job definition is closest to the first option there, but I also do a small amount of rigging/skinning (although our Animation TD does most of the rigging/skinning work).
This looks really nice. It's pretty spot on to the concept. The only thing I think would help it is a small amount of color in your spec. A bit a blue for the leather would help. Good work!
palettes are not supported on hardware since several years (I think geforce3 ish or so). It probably simply is some lighting issue, as theres infinite amounts of how the final colors come out.
not sure how many textures you pack around, but you might try to get a 9gig thumbdrive. Not a whole lot of space but can hold a decent amount of base textures to work off of.
