spilt the blender window and switch the the dopesheet editor, or activate the animation layout. and in the dopesheet editors toolbar there is a dropdown list, select action editor, and than you will have a other item in the toolbar for selecting actions and adding new ones. hope that helps
Check out this thread, look at Stefan's texture layout (about the 8th post down): http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=39&t=444791&page=7&pp=15 Check out the polycount wiki as well: http://wiki.polycount.com/CategoryEnvironment
You need lots more "grime" in my opinion. Your structural pillars on the right are too far apart as well, you need more of them showing and closer together :) . Apart from that though, the layout is pretty bang on. Keep it up
This is a hard question to answer without seeing your bake settings and your UV layout. It does looks like you have some stretching/distortion, though, which can make hiding your seams harder with certain texturing techniques.
you realise you have posted a full layout of your new apartment, your address, and we also know your pretty much alone and that you'll be leaving the house empty during the day when your at your new job?
Nice work, nice site layout good and simple, you should probably put atleast your name on your images in case any recruiter wants to save the image and goes back to it later, they're not going to remember who made it
The only experience I've had along these lines is when I've worked too long into the night. Attempting to get sleep is a horrid experience when all you can see when you close your eyes is normalmaps and UV Layouts :/
thanx for the help. i havent had much time to work on this model :( and ive started over a few times. but finally have a lil layout and base colours in. sorry for the slow progress but feel free to pick out stuff as i go
It may not seem much but this is the very first time I've ever used photoshop, the layout is completely different to what I expect of a paint program but After a day of fighting with it I've started to learn. :) I like these colours, but they're just temporary.
@Ged: Thanks dude, I'll try to make kick-ass stuff : ) Just felt like updating with a screen layout of one of my monitors when I texture with Ddo. Working like a charm with this uver buig monitor (U2711) <3
