I decided to cut the hair, making the curly tail look good would take too much time. If you got any feedback, this is the time, I need anything I can get to push this to polish for the last two days of the project.
Really nice work! That brick wall looks delicious, I also like that last one. My only crit is that the wood texture looks really dark. I tested looking at it with two different monitors and on both I think it was too dark.
I want to make a weapon for Luna. I'm worried the top two look too much like weapons for other heroes like vengeful spirit, but I want to do something full-moon themed. What do you guys think?
Hey there! This looks really nice.. ;) I like the overall quality and atmosphere a lot! No crits from me so far, besides the fact that it's a bit dark in the last two screenshots (maybe only too dark for presentation, in-game it fits very well)
I just started using Modo too about two weeks ago, same issue. Heres a script I've been meaning to test out which might be able to solve the scale issue: http://forums.luxology.com/discussion/topic.aspx?id=41509
Now you've gone and done it! Now you have to model a turtle too! Freaking cool model. Great textures, but I don't think that your text will very sharp with just two 1024 textures. Can you show the underside of the car?
That's probably z-fighting, where the precision of the z-buffer is too small. If this is a Perspective view, right click on the viewport name and turn on Viewport Clipping, then adjust the two triangles at far right, see if that helps. User view is another option, not ideal of course.
I played around with two at work. I was impressed, especially with the photoshop painting and what not. The problem I see tho is that the general population will probably think of it as an ipad and then... well, why would they want the surface when they can have an ipad? You know how people are.
And wes.sau I've used the method you suggested before too, but you still have to select vertices pair-by-pair and click two buttons, which isn't any faster than scale-tool'ing them manually pair by pair, unless I'm missing something...
I think this is an awesome idea, when we're all sat around in the morning sync or whatever talking about needing an extra prop artist or two it'd be so nice to go and look at a list as well as send the recruiter out on the hunt. +1 for countrys too.
