A simple technical test is to build your own DDS texture, fill each mipmap layer with an unique color and test it out. This way you can exactly see what mipmap-level is used when rendering your model at the different distances. I would bet, that the next-gen texture size will not differ a lot from the last generation… -

I had a reference from deviantart for the base model which i made myself :D ), and ive been using some random stuff from google images (lol) for inspiration, but no real reference at all. Blender tells me that its 12k vertices, but i have no idea about the polys (and i don't remember much about geometry schtuffz :P) found… -

This is a good start but I think going over the body again would benefit you, all the muscles are blobby looking, you need to tighten them up. And as always check your references. And his face could use some work too, right now his face looks like hes 50-60 but he has a really young looking muscular body which is odd. You… -

90%? I have not read that report? The Jon Peddie Research group printed an interesting report last year on the value of the enthusiast gaming market. yes enthusiasts will pay more money for value... That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Was really hair-rasing for some seconds there when he started to spin, but then he just stabilized and nuked the speed record. Have to agree with Equanim. Way to big. There are several models that are displayed so large I cannot see the entire thing at the same time. You should not have to scroll to see the top and bottom of an image. I would scale the design down at least 50%. If you use Chrome you can you can hold "Ctrl" and scroll the middle… -

Maybe also changing some basica features that are activated by standard. I know some of them are there for a reason and from heritage...but the majority is now using it for it's sculpting and not for illustration, so maybe push the illustration only stuff into a seperate submenu and run the whole thing for sculpting first.…
