Its been awhile since I've updated this thread. Kinda slowed down on this guy since I recently got a new job and had to move out of state. Update for today is that the piece is now in Marm 3 and MAN IS THAT PROGRAM DOPE!! I worked on the hair using a Xgen hair as a base and game rezing it from there.
Been a little while since I updated this thread it's difficult to find time to do this next to my studies but here is a small update, I added some work in progress god rays, added the wood underneath the roof to support the rooftiles and worked on the arches , hope you guys like it and C&C Is very very welcome :)
As far as I know, you can continue using it, you just won't get updates (nor support I think). Also, the free version is still available, it just also won't get updates. But to make thing sure, you can take a look at this thread: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=132609
I don't know if there's a specific system in place for that, but you can do it through prefabs. Just create a prefab "RaceTrack_GEO" etc, and apply that in your main scene. From there you can update that prefab externally just as you would an Unreal level to update the main scene so long as the prefab connection remains…
Update. Trying to finish this character in time for GDC on Friday! here's my progress I've made since my last update: * Finished modeling and sculpting. * normal maps are 95% complete * body diffuse is 90% complete * Armor Diffuse is 60% complete I'm using Unity 3d 3.5 to render and test my textures

UPDATED: I've updated the Unity webplayer to show a full 360 rotation of the completed models thus far. You'll get a better idea of the detail and shading of the geometry in this scene.
