The part where the actual axe blade meets the main body, looks very thin and flimsy. If you would imagine using it in battle, it seems plausible that it would quickly break - what is the usage/story behind the axe? I would imagine that from the ornate design, it is supposed to be ceremonial? Regardless, very awesome design… -

and dont forget to change the quality to best for x-ray mode(right click the viewport "name"), Sometimes i create a transparency animated material (3 frames or whatever works) 100%, 50% and something like 5-10%, you can cycle through and have opacity change quickly, apply to all objects and voila. -

Last time I heard from people who bought stuff at liquidation sales they were complaining about how they ended up paying more than they would have otherwise by just buying online. So my advice is to not buy anything too quickly. Bring an iPhone or something so you can price check :) -

You can download a trial from the Autodesk website, you can buy a copy, and you also may be able to get a deal on a "student" version, i seem to remember a thread recently about highly discounted student versions, possibly even free? Do not bother discussing how to obtain it illegally, as it will quickly result in a ban. -

looking good. That frontal ref, it looks as though the eyes should be wider set, and his mouth narrows quite quickly on the lips and makes up its width with a "zipper" line of compressed skin- your mouth has the lips running to the edge of the mouth opening, if you see what I mean :) Good luck! ~P~ -

I'm not sure what your meshes look like or how well they relax but you can normalize when you relax a selection of pieces. Now of course that doesn't always work on things that don't relax well but before MoP wrote this script it was the only real way of quickly normalizing lots of pieces. Besides doing it manually. -

from the contrasting point it looks better to me. gives spots the eye can move around quickly, catching all details. but of course the wall details are lost cause they can't be seen :o really tough call, you got on this :/ and on top of that, having the scene that dark wouldn't work with the daylight lighting coming… -

Yeah, this wasn't packaged in too friendly a manner for most people. I was lucky and was able to download them quickly. However, if you're on a slow connection/getting slow downloads due to high traffic, this might be a little painful. You must download all parts, and then extract with winrar in order to watch any 1 part…
