if you have a lot of n-gons you can always try to cut them into triangles, triangles arent bad for game meshes because when they go into the engine they get tesselated as is, so try cutting down the n-gons with tris :) love this thread btw -

Ok one thing those arent even IQ tests, they are estimated IQ's based from other forms of testing and it says nothing about his actual intelegence. If they were iq tests i would be 17 points ahead of bush tho =P (kerry) -

sounds powerful and expensive but I guess those 2 go hand in hand. what motherboard? case? what about a 500GB sata2 drive with 32mb cache instead of 16mb? they arent much more expensive but Im not sure the 32mb makes much difference to 16mb? -

I think games have the potential to easily be art. most games arent. i see it more as a craft than an art, honestly. Yes you can craft worlds and experiences that can be art, but your craft alone isnt art i dont think. -

yeah, i know the concept... my meaning was shots "as well as" the existing shots that are right-on the dot to the original. funny wording ftl. Point being to see some angles that arent from the same perspective as the concept, since the stuff in there is nicely done, and very representative of the concept -
Learning Character Stuff?
So, I started with a base mesh that I made, which is all in quads, so I can export it to mudbox for sculpting. I started piecing together parts like shoulder pauldrons, boots, and the vest from the patent patterns. I have a sharp, and its amazing. Id personally go for sharp. but never ever buy a plasma. they are cheaper now, but for a reason, they dont last nearly as longer, colours arent as vivid, and they have images burned into them all the time (the icons int he corners from different stations) -

Damn it shouldnt really take that long... Hmm they're both Obj right? if one is a different file type it might resize it. Also check the highpoly and see if the normals/polys arent inverted as well. Im not sure what else but i hope you sort it out. best of luck
