more details. I think im just about done with this. the repetition of elements is fairly important. I want the pattern to work in just about any variation but still keep the characteristics similar.
Try to nail down the key features that make the face recognisable. Looking at charicatures is useful as even though the drawing/sculpt isn't realistic it still captures the elements that define that particular person's face.
Use bones but set influence on whole elements - for example, the top arm bone has its pivot aligned on the screws, and influences all the metal parts of the top arm, with a soft fallof on the cable.

You can try the following: make a 128x128 checker texture. Load it in your uv editor. Pixel snap your elements (alternative option on the grid snapp button in the bottom right corner).
I don't know of a way to allow other windows in expert mode, but maybe you can make a script that toggles off all the ui elements except attribute editor and channel box?

Yea that is true, but you can like the mythology of the series without the hide and seek element being as long. Im a big fan of the AVP games and those mixed it rather well i thought
