I think some of your textures are a little to bright/white - the house and the pillar are the ones that I think of in particular. Maybe it's the lighting but I would darken them down a bit and maybe add some dirt or lichen in the cracks? Also, on the Medieval Stone Wall the beveled corners lack the same texture resolution… -

Did these today- Paint Study Seems my repeated value painting is paying off.Without using the color picker,I know exactly what value to pick and paint.Used a screenshot from one of heavenly sword cutscenes as reference to paint values. It looks good. I'm no great artist, but I can tell that you could work more with depth as your whole concept is kind of flat. Take for example the swords are both rendered from the side almost orthogonally and the feet are totally in line although your pose suggests that one foot is in front of the other . Try an imagine… -

If for some reason you must go square, I would plan a few breaks in the long polys so the pieces can be arranged easier. But really a 1:2 ratio might be best because you don't have to worry about seams. Even tho they aren't that hard to get rid of.
