It's present in the Show Manipulator Tool whenever you preform an Extrude. If off to the side of the tool you get Thickness, Offset & Divisions then you're able to LMB drag those options. Should be on by default
thanks alot thomasp, works a charm , I just assumed things were set up to do this by default. Nearly done with my character now, just gotta do the head and belt.
Yes, and I have them set to the defaults. 16 units for translates. Its jumping way more than 16, its jumping like 100 at least, and its very fast and annoying.
Its actually better to learn the xsi controls, the keyboard short cuts and hot keys are amazing how they are set up in the default layout, and using the maya ones just cover them up.
I wonder how many variations of Terminal Velocity this new one can ship in a year Default title screen music filename is still called "SEX" right? either way, this is sex.
The RTT adds an own Unwrap UVW Modifier by default, set to 'Flatten Mapping'. If you want to use an existing one, you have to check the checkbox and specify the Map Channel (presumably 1).
Thanks guys! Means a lot... I just took the Hue/sat layer off the skin... so it's back to how the textures are at default... whaddya think? Gettin to work on the next char comp...
Also i dunno which version you are using but turbounwrap gives a lot more options to the default unwrap modifier (not sure if they improved in 2009) http://www.chuggnut.com/Scripts/TurboUnwrap/TurboUnwrap_Max9.rar
It's confusing to me that tuk tuk and powerlines are presented in Unreal, but the scene they are in, Shanty Scene, is not. Same goes for the camera and the pickman's scene. It's a bit of a let down to see them render in default max rendering.
I appreciate the fact that you've taken the time to import some of your models into various game engines! It's a nice change from the default t-pose presentation of 99% of the websites out there! Kudos!
