like other said 32 gig is WAY over unless you are doing Vray Renders , even then still alot. Id get 8GB its a good solid amount right now. GPU wise doesnt matter that much anything mid range will do, high will only benefit in games
i have a question , my pc can't handle udk or cryengine , so can i do it with vray but with games specs ( lowpoly props and textures ) . i really like to join in :)
Here is the finished model. I still aim to finish a base to mount him on at some point, but I hope you guys like it. It's rendered in Vray in Max. No photoshopping at all. If there's interest I might look into getting some 3d prints made.
Out of interest, what's wrong with Mental Ray? I don't do much rendering myself, but it seems like you can get some very impressive results out of Mental Ray.
