Enjoy hard surface sub-D modelling. :D *high fives* Judging by the concept layout, a modular design could come in handy, as a learning experience and easier placement. I'm absolutely loving the orange shade though. <3
nice, I like the layout and how you handled the descriptions. The work is pretty sweet as well though I would consider either improving the revolver's render or taking it out. Compared to the rest of your work it's pretty weak.
Hm... no, does it really matters? I've set Mesh Lightmap Coordinates to "UV Layout 0" which is 0..1 space, non-overlapping, non-mirrored, etc. Well, i'll try to make 2nd channel now.
I'm not having any trouble loading up stuff on the page. Nice clean layout and easy to navigate, but I don't know much about VFX so I can't give much feedback regarding your work.
I agree with Sukotto on the UV layout. You'll see in a lot of textures of characters the face/head typically takes up a decent portion. The arms feel kinda thin. I think the texture could use a bit of vibrance.
Hmm. If you can grab it, you would benefit from VRay. Setting up layered shaders is super easy. In the meantime, could you give us a few screen shots of your hypershade/node editor layout?
Layout for the area - I'll put up a few reference images too. So, at the end of the 'pier' over the pond there will be a circular view-port to a mountainous backdrop basically framing the scenery which I really like the idea of
So some of the flowers are white just like they should be and some are grayish? Are you using lightmaps on them and is the resolution high enough? As for the rocks, what does your lightmap UV layout look like (as well as lightmap res)?
Yeah that case is pretty nice, it's basically an mATX version of the NCASE M1, which I really love the look and layout of. It's also 18 liters which is basically the same size as the EVGA Hadron Air, which is an ITX case.
:poly008: ooohh very nice, you sir win a giant cookie. Really digging the lighting and layout, i think you achieved your aims quite well. I'd definitely explore the crap out of that place =P.
