8.5k tri is too much for what it looks like. I think you wasted a lot of triangles on very small things like the the rings that are holding the drapes and her bra string. You could just delete the geometry and make these in the texture. -

The wood seems very rough for the weapon; I'd tone down the normal map on the wood grain. The darker band on the butt is odd, looking like a series of straight lines instead of a smooth ring; perhaps redoing the UVs for this section would help. -

Highpoly is done for now. All details will be made in nDo and Substance Designer later on. Also change the concept a bit, put in this "ring thing" xD critics are very welcome! I`d love to see more other people doing this gun :) -

Love them tables, wood looks spot on to me. Concept has the metal rings being much more shinny and more of a clean metal look though. None the less, I still love the wood...wait, that sounded wrong :P -

Here is a quickie shot of whats happening. I only get this blue ring when I paint, and just in Bodypaint. I've got graphics tablet checked and I switched other modes which didn't help. Thanks for any suggestions. -

I won't go into much details since this is your first model, but try to make the chest and back areas a bit less edge-loopy. Remove some edge rings because you got a lot of polygons that don't add to the silhuette there. -
