i just didnt work on the foot haha was just showing progress. Is all the anatomy bad or just the areas i havent really touched yet? Im using a reference maybe it is just a bad one. i will try and find more i guess
@Morris: It just depends on what you're aiming to eventually work on, I think. If you want to get hired for low-poly characters, have those in your portfolio. It's not a bad move, it's just a bad or good move depending on which studios you're applying to.
Study: My lil' bud So I decided to model my little succulent plant as a texture experiment. Surprisingly, I was able to almost texture the whole plant only by using AO based masks and level nodes. Bud IRL, Penny for scale
Yes it is for the Asian environment and it's not really coming along. Nothing bad really just had another idea so it is sitting on the back burner. Plus I need to finish up my Deus Ex scene. Need to get that bad boy in my portfolio.
Saw it this morning, had some good and bad bad moments. Really liked the mouse show, somehow it reminded me more of stop motion classics then anything else. Great art, animation, and effects all around, but the characters themselfs seemed a little flat.
Worst dialogs EVER! But maybe it was just the German dubbing, that made it so bad (but I doubt it). Oh and most of the actors and the cg was pretty bad too (rhino with jelly legs wtf?). But overall it had a nice style to it, so I kind of enjoyed the movie
To answer the questions in OP though, I use Marmoset for real time and either Max MR rendering or ZBrush BPR for high resolution which came from a tutorial by Vitaly Bulgarov. Like I mentioned above, I find breaking shots down to a specific purpose per page is best with around 3 - 4 pages. Similar to what you will see for…
Sorry, my bad, I should have specified un conncted mesh (like two pauldrons for example on a warrior) are cases when I delete the mesh, I never delete the mesh for organic, connected models, but in all cases, UV offset works fine. Sorry, my bad.

Freaking beautiful man, love you the green and silver of your hospital bed asset. the speckly details was a very nice touch too. The desk seems to be lacking compared to the bed, but then again its just a desk. Love the bottles too. Cant wait to see the rest of your scene! :D
